We could really go on about our long time passion project Noricum for ages, to keep this short however we just stick to the basics and politely refer you to it’s designated facebook site facebook.com/noricum-film for further information.
As the name suggests Noricum is set in the region and era of central parts of Austria at the time of roman reign. The larger story of all three feature length episodes, of which this film is the first, in that we put the least, although still weeks of effort into and that is so far alone in being finished, follows a band of germanic raiders as they clash with roman legions and interact with the local celtic population and the aftermath of their actions.
Worth mentioning in a short summary should also be this first episode being the chronologically last part in the common plot of all three, where we also in turn follow in turn the perspective of a regional celtic hunter instead of the protagonists of the other preceding two being Marcomanni Warriors.
Without any funding, sponsoring or other financial backing the whole project is based on the NETTA MEA team’s pure ambition to create, be it in producing epic film on a budget, setting our goals higher than many a big stutios, testing our skills, exploring new genres tropes or choreographies, to practice, gather contacts, experience and parnerships with the likeminded.
Alongside our own journey into the celtic past we have also been able to collaborate with other film makers and visionaries on their idea on the subject. On “Celtic Fury” we could, thanks to our at that time already existing stock of roman and barbaric clothing, arms and armour as well as undeniable experience in how to film fight-, chase- and epic landscape scenes, contribute to a project pitch trailer, to give a first impression into the possible film or even series “Celtic Fury” could at a later time, given a larger financial backing evolve into.
